The Photo Artists Collective

Based in Sonoma County, we are a group of five photographers dedicated to the natural landscape as a medium for artistic intent. While each maintains a distinct individual practice, we converge through a shared fascination with the “quiet moments” of the California environment—prioritizing atmosphere, texture, and the nuances of light over the purely representational. We created this collective as a place to be honest about our work and our process. By meeting regularly to look at images and talk technique, we help each other move past the “standard” shot to find something more meaningful. It’s a partnership that helps us all do a better job of experiencing the quiet, wild grace of the California landscape.
